In October 2000 the actor Dean Cain, well known for playing Superman in the TV version (Lois and Clarke in the US, The New Adventures of Superman in the UK), visited CIA headquarters. He went there with TV producer Craig Piligian, best known for ‘reality TV’ dross Survivor.
They were there to research a proposed TV adaptation of the book Master of Disguise by Tony Mendez, a CIA veteran and one of an elite group cited as a ‘trailblazer’ as part of the Agency’s 50th anniversary celebrations. As noted in an issue of What’s News at CIA, Piligian’s company was called False Flag Productions. You can download the issue on Cain and Piligian’s visit to Langley here (PDF, 542KB).
