In this episode I welcome back friend and journalist James Oddy so we could discuss the 8th and final season of Homeland, as well as do a retrospective on the show as a whole. In this lengthy and quite funny conversation we pick out some of the more risible moments in season 8, play a game to illustrate how badly written it is, and explore a few ideas of what they could have done but didn’t. We also look back on Homeland as a time capsule of the last decade, both culturally and politically, and briefly compare it to The Sopranos.
