ClandesTime Special – Kevin Gosztola on the Assange Extradition Case

Tom Secker 4th March 2020

In this episode I welcome Kevin Gosztola, a journalist, editor of Shadowproof and co-host of Unauthorized Disclosure. We talk about why he focuses his reporting on whistleblower cases, and highlight some of the double standards in the treatment of high level leakers like David Petraeus, and lower-level whistleblowers like Reality Winner and Jon Kiriakou. We then get into Kevin’s reporting on the Julian Assange extradition hearing, some of the legal arguments made in court, and what’s at stake with this case.
