Hollywood and Washington – Tom and Matt on Level Talk

Tom Secker 15th September 2017 November 19th, 2019

John Harrison of Sputnik radio’s Level Talk invited Matt and I on to talk about National Security Cinema and the relationship between Hollywood and Washington.  In this rapid-fire interview we touched on the history of this relationship, its impact on scripts, why writers and producers go along with the government’s demands, the movies Hulk, Avatar and Starship Troopers, whether this is primarily propaganda or censorship and much more.
