In this month’s subscriber-only podcast I break down the BBC’s Panorama episode on the Skripal affair.  One year on from the Salisbury poisoning, I offer comments and criticism of one of the most shameless pieces of British state propaganda ever made: Salisbury Nerve Agent Attack – The Inside Story.  I detail how the programme changes or contradicts central parts of the official narrative of events, from the involvement of police officer Nick Bailey, to the question of why only one of five people allegedly exposed to novichok died when it is perhaps the most deadly nerve agent ever created.  I also discuss the Institute for Statecraft’s Integrity Initiative and their connections to the Skripal affair, and present an alternative version of events which might explain what happened and why.
